This professional natural black food colouring is perfect for sweet and savoury foods alike. It’s water-soluble, but – made from charcoal powder – the powder consistency of the colouring means that it doesn’t further dilute wet mixtures.  

The natural black colouring is made from charcoal, produced by burning vegetable matter. Natural black food colour is perfect for colouring blamanges, macarons, meringues or even pasta dough. The natural black food colour can also be mixed with a little water, and used to paint patterns onto royal icing when decorating cakes.
