Give your boiled egg the royal treatment with this rosewood egg cup. It’s hand carved in Vietnam and has a beautiful natural wood pattern. It has a hole to hold your egg and a smaller hole for salt or pepper.

This unusual egg cup comes with a spoon made from polished black horn. Horn is the best choice for boiled eggs as the natural material won’t taint its flavour. The pointed tip is great for getting the last bits out of the shell.

Each piece is hand carved by talented craftsmen. They use waste materials that would otherwise have been discarded or destroyed. These include water buffalo horn and rosewood off-cuts from furniture makers.

Due to the natural materials used, the colour and pattern of each item may vary slightly . Each one is unique.

Not dishwasher safe.

Please note that while horn from water buffalo is predominantly black, it can have yellow and milky white streaks running through it, creating a marbled or two toned effect. So your product will be completely unique, and one of a kind.

It went on to win an award for ‘Outstanding Design’ presented by the British Interior Design Association in May 2003.
