Cool Chile Co’s white masa harina is an essential ingredient for making Mexican tortillas. This gluten-free flour is made from 100% non-GMO ground corn with the purest corn flavour and fine texture. ‘Masa harina’ directly translates as ‘dough flour’, and as well as tortilla wraps, it is used to make the dough for traditional tamales, antojitos and gorditas.  

Use this white masa harina to make authentic Mexican tortillas in a traditional press. It can also be used to thicken Mexican stews and sauces.

As a gluten-free flour, this Masa harina works as a substitute for traditional wheat flour for those who are gluten intolerant.. Bind with xanthan gum or guar gum to make gluten-free bread, pie crusts and sponges.
