Black São Tomé pepper has a pungent aroma and intense citrus flavour that complements red meat and fish. With its fresh taste and subtle heat, this rare pepper can transform everyday dishes into something special.  

It is harvested by hand in São Tomé and Príncipe, an island nation in the Gulf of Guinea.

Crush or grind black São Tomé pepper to add to marinades, dressings and peppercorn sauce. It works particularly well with beef and lamb but can also be sprinkled over grilled fish such as sea bass or bream. Try adding this unique black pepper to spaghetti cacio e pepe or a cheesy potato gratin.
